Adrianne Curry was discovered on the first season of America’s Next Top Model. She became well liked due to her personality, natural talent and strong-willed nature. In one episode, Adrianne had food poisoning, but still participated in the modeling challenge. This impressed the judges as they saw her as someone with a real passion, hunger and drive to be a model. As a result, Adrianne won the first “Top Model” competition.
The green-eyed beauty was born August 6th, 1982 in the town of Joliet, Illinois. Her interest in modeling began at the tender age of 12. Growing up she was a tomboy and active in sports. During high school, she had a lot of problems and was forced to drop out. Determined to graduate, she earned her GED. Adrianne had her other share of problems. She got involved with heroin and cocaine, which ended up with her going to rehab. Her family also suffered with financial problems, which did not make life easy. Despite all obstacles, Adrianne was determined to have a better life for herself and her family. So when she found out about America’s Next Top Model, it was a great opportunity to get the exposure she needed to succeed in modeling.
After America’s Top Model
After winning the first “America’s Next Top Model” competition, Adrianne was looking forward to a big Revlon modeling contract that was never received. Instead, it turned out to be a lot of convention work. Adrianne claims she was never paid for all the work she did for them, and holds resentment towards Tyra Banks.
Despite not receiving her winnings from “America’s Next Top Model”, her modeling career had other opportunities. She has appeared in many magazines, commercials, and TV appearances. Listed below are many of the projects she has participated in.

- Surreal Life on VH1 – (2004) – It was on this show where Adrianne met her future husband Christopher Knight (“Peter Brady” from the Brady Bunch)
- My Fair Brady – This was a spin-off reality show that followed Adrianne and Christopher’s romance. At the end of the season finale (November 6,2005), Christopher proposed to her. The new season will focus on the preparation for their wedding. It began airing in June 2006. They were married on May 28th, 2006 in a traditional Christian ceremony with a gothic theme.

She has a tarantula, a miniature collie and a black cat named “Ziggy Stardust”. Adrianne also loves wild cats and has a dream of building a big sanctuary for them in the future.
