Cheap Breast Forms
From LoveToKnow Lingerie
It's possible to find cheap breast forms for your needs, whether you're a transvestite, a mastectomy patient, or you just want to enhance your natural bust line. Keep in mind that "cheap" doesn't necessarily mean under $100 unless you don't have to have the silicone type.
Where to Buy Cheap Breast Forms
Breast forms usually come in foam and silicone, with foam being much, much less expensive. Assuming you don't want to make your own breast forms for a moment at a fraction of the cost (some of us just don't feel up to being so crafty, and that's absolutely fine!), here are some websites to peruse for your perfect cheap breast forms:
- Special Trade doesn't have the cheapest breast forms around, but they do have sales from time to time, so before you purchase, make sure you check out their stock and their specials. They have silicone breast forms from B cups to J cups, in all types.
- The Breast Form Store advertises that they try to have the lowest prices on breast forms online. They have breast forms available at a wide range of prices, such as the Triangle Attachable Forms for $159\\.00 and the Big and Beautiful Breast forms with nipples for $412. For a really cheap alternative, consider the Clear Breast Enhancers ($29) to see if they fit your needs.
- Suddenly Fem has "Affordable Silicone Breast Forms" for just $134.95. They have a flat back and a raised nipple. Sizes available include B/C and C/D for chest sizes 36-42. There are also other styles available on the site, such as the Silicone Breast Forms (Perfect Fit Forms), which are a bit pricier at $269.90 on sale or $325 normally.
- Glamour Boutique has quite a few breast forms available. Their prices range from around $49.95 for foam breast forms or $149.95 for Symmetrical Silicone Breast Forms, to $399.95 for "Skeeter Bites," advertised as the World's Largest Silicone Breast Forms.
- Hidden Woman has both foam and silicone breast forms. There, you'll find foam forms as cheap as $21.95 and silicone forms for as low as $235.95. This site offers ebony breast forms, something you may not find on all sites.
Make Your Own
If you like to take things into your own hands, you can make your own breast forms quite simply—and for much less than the silicone forms on the market. All it takes is a little time and a visit to the home improvement store. Yes, the home improvement store. A brief breakdown of products you could use for this project includes:
- Plaster of Paris
- Liquid latex
- Rubber cement
- Bird seed
- Nylons
Judging by the tentative list of ingredients, you can easily see that making your own will be much less expensive. How you want to use your breast forms will come into play when deciding whether making your own is feasible or if purchasing the most realistic ready-made forms will be necessary. For the complete list of materials involved in making your own, visit the Make Your Own Breast Forms article. For even more detail, visit Geek Babe and Tranny Radio.
The Bottom Line
In general, breast forms are not cheap. There are ways to cut corners and enhance your bust line without breaking the bank, though. That includes the obvious: watching for sales on various websites so you can quickly compare prices, going with the more affordable (but often less realistic) versions, or making your own.
If you have money to spend, a $350 set of breast forms could be considered inexpensive (compared to $500 sets, at least), and almost any of the sites above will have what you're looking for. For that price, you can almost get any style or type you desire.
Check all of your options before committing to any type of breast form to make sure you'll get the shape, weight, and style you'd like most. By following the links above, you may find that there's something comparable out there at a price you'll like.
