About Eberjey Lingerie

Eberjey lingerie, which is commonly misspelled as Eberjay, is headquartered in Miami, Florida. The company was founded in 1996 by Alejandrina Mejia and Mariela Rovito, two direct marketing executives who wanted to create "wearable chic" lingerie for women. They believed that the layer of clothing worn closest to the heart should exude confidence, love and happiness -- "all the things that make a woman truly beautiful." Items are medium- to high-end, ranging in price from $16 for a pair of low-rise bikinis to $70 for a corset-laced chemise. Eberjey (pronounced ebb-er-zhey) means "joy" in Nigerian.

Designs for Worthy Causes

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October 2006, Eberjey donated 25 percent of the proceeds from its India lace boy thong sales to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. In 2002, the company donated more than $11,000 to the Red Cross' Sept. 11 Liberty Disaster Relief Fund. The company designed and sold "Americana" briefs -- white panties with the American flag on them -- for $32 a pair.

Online Return Policy

In an effort to protect the personal hygiene of its customers, Eberyjey.com will not accept returns on unworn thongs or briefs if the packaging has been opened. It will, however, accept returns on all other unworn merchandise, opened or not, but with its original packaging. All returns must be made within 20 days of the invoice date. Merchandise received after that time will be give store credit, which is only good for 90 days. For retail or wholesale returns, check with the store with which the Eberjey lingerie was purchased.
