Karolina Kurkova, the blonde beauty from the Czech Republic has captured the attention of people around the world. Born February 28th 1984 in Decin. Hard to believe, but as a young girl Karolina said that boys thought she was too skinny, tall and awkward!! She began modeling at the tender age of fifteen before graduating high school after a close friend sent photos to an agency in Prague. Shortly after, Miyccia Prada signed a contract with her that gave her the exposure she needed to get her career off the ground. Despite modeling opportunities in Europe, her career didn’t take off until she turned 17, where she became the youngest model to have ever graced the cover of Vogue (February 2001). It was this groundbreaking opportunity that help to skyrocket her career into overdrive. America fell in love with her fun, intense and energetic personality.
