The Look of Leather Boxer Shorts
Although called boxers, pretty much no one is going to wear these boxer shorts as underwear except perhaps for a fleeting moment as part of a fantasy game. They are meant to be on display. As with leather pants and anything worn for fetish purposes, they fit snugly. On the face of it, they will look like any standard smooth-fitting boxer short or brief, except that they are leather. Some will be longer, and there might be some color variations, but the general shape is fairly standard.
From there, however, it's up to the designer and wearer what sort of adornments the shorts may have. Studs, rings, attached suspenders, zippers – there are a number of choices out there, so take your time in shopping.
Shopping for Your Leather Shorts
As you probably already know, the quality of leather can vary widely in both look and feel. There is a reason some leather jackets cost thousands of dollars and others are only a hundred. It is best to try on leather in person, especially when it is going to fit this tightly. You want to get a strong sense of how they will look and feel. If you will be wearing them at parties, they may be on for several hours at a stretch, so it's crucial that you have some level of comfort, even while acknowledging that comfort is very much not the point. This is sensitive skin, however, so you want to be sure it won't get chafed. Most shorts should have a comfort lining.
You also want to be sure the leather is of a good enough quality that it will fit snugly but not pinch, creating unflattering bulges. Leather should give – that's what makes it so ideal for shoes, it molds to your individual form – but poor quality leather either won't give or will give too much. While you likely won't be wearing leather boxer shorts long enough at any one time to have to worry about it, you are still making an investment and want them to look enticing.

A Variety of Options
At Brief Tales, they have a basic pair of leather boxer shorts that is available up to a size 46 and can be paired with a leather vest – or of course, whatever accessories you already have handy. They only say that it is "Stormy Leather," so if you need more information, you have to contact them.
Gothic Haven has a far more elaborate pair that look more like average boxers except that they are made of bespoke kid leather. They have an elasticized waist and can come with a plain or Velcro fly, as you like. You can also have them adjusted to fit you.
For something a little more intense, OK Studio has a pair that has a laced-up side and a metal crotch zipper. They come in black, blue or red. You can also get a laced version without the zipper.
The OK Studio has a number of other choices, including a pair with four buckles on each side; one with zippers on the side; and longer footie shorts that lace up the front.
Caring for Your Shorts
Most leather can be cleaned using a damp cloth and some vinegar. As much as possible, try to avoid getting leather wet and do not use cleaning fluid or detergent. If absolutely need be, take it for dry cleaning. Be sure to take it out of the plastic bag immediately, however, as leather has to breathe to stay in good condition.
