What is a Shelf Bra?

There are two types of shelf bras. Typically a shelf bra is a built-in bra made of a soft stretchy fabric. It is attached to garments that would make wearing a bra difficult such as tank tops, bathing suits, strapless tops and tops with very skinny straps. The other type of shelf bra refers to an erotic style of lingerie. It consists of a wide band that is worn under the breasts and does not have a full or demi-style cup, thus exposing the nipples. Caring for Your Leather

Any type of leather lingerie will require special care. Since leather is not machine washable it needs to be treated differently than your other lingerie pieces.
