Lingerie Bowl
From LoveToKnow Lingerie
The Lingerie Bowl is a pay-per-view Super Bowl halftime show played by models wearing lingerie. It's controversial first airing was during Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004. It has since gained enormous popularity and has spawned a reality TV show called the Lingerie Football League.
The Lingerie Bowl is played using the traditional rules of American football, the main difference is of course that all players are female models wearing matching bras and panties. Protective gear includes a helmet, shoulder pads and joint padding. Each team has a professional coach and the game is played full-contact where players tackle other players. Even the referees are models wearing lingerie, though true refs are often used.
Lingerie Football League
The Lingerie Football League stemmed from the Lingerie Bowl as a reality television series that would help determine which teams would compete in the next Lingerie Bowl.
The four original teams of the LFL:
- Los Angeles Temptation
- New York Euphoria
- Dallas Desire
- Chicago Bliss
And four new teams added later:
- San Francisco Seduction
- Las Vegas Sin
- Atlanta Steam
- Miami Caliente
