The Modeling Days

According to NaomiCampbell.com, Naomi was the first black model to grace the covers of TIME magazine, as well as French and British VOGUE.

She's modeled on the runway for big name designers like Ralph Lauren, Versace, Dolce & Gabanna and will be working with Louis Vuitton very soon. She's got the career any model would dream of having--and the great news is, she's only 5'9 ½" tall. Most female runway models are expected to be at least 5'11".

The Acting Days

Both television and movies have had the honor of featuring Naomi Campbell. She's been on television shows such as Fashion Mix, a series that combined hot new music with the latest fashions; New York Undercover, a cops and criminals series that ran from 1994-1998 and made appearances on The Cosby Show, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Fastlane.

Two books are under Naomi's trendy waist-cinching belt. The first one, Swan, is one that she co-authored. The second one was completely up to her, and it's a photo book named, you guessed it, Naomi.

Naomi has decided to donate the proceeds from her book sales to good causes. The Red Cross Somalia Relief Fund receives these donations. Campbell is also involved in other charitable organizations, helping in fundraisers to help underprivileged children.

Scandal

Naomi Campbell is just as well known for being feisty as she is for her phenomenal body and poise. She's no stranger with the police and has been arrested quite a few times--once even for throwing her cell phone at her maid! You don't want to be on this girl's black list. Recently, she was arrested yet again for causing a "disturbance" outside of her ex- boyfriend's apartment because he wouldn't let her in to get some of her things.

The cell phone incident wasn't isolated. Several former employees have claimed to have been viciously mistreated by Campbell. One assistant was even left to fend for herself in Morocco with no funds or a passport to get back when Naomi deserted her after a photo shoot.

Naomi Campbell may be beautiful and poised, but it's probably best to just admire her from afar.
