Pokemon Lingerie
From LoveToKnow Lingerie
You can find the popular and colorful characters of the Pokemon world on bed sheets, backpacks and even Pokemon lingerie, boxer shorts and underwear.
Not For the Faint of Heart
Trust me when I say you do not want to search for "Pokemon lingerie" unsuspectingly. Even if you don't click any links, the words included in the descriptions are enough to raise a few eyebrows.
If you truly are a fan of Pikachu and Jigglypuff and would like to tell the world (well... that part of the world that gets to see your underwear) about it, there are a few possibilities. Or you may also be searching for cute pictures of Pokemon in underwear scribbled by a fan artist. Just be careful because there's a fine line between "Wouldn't it be funny if Pikachu was wearing a bra?" and "Wouldn't it be hot if Pikachu was wearing a bra?" and you never know which type of website you might be stumbling across.
Finding Pokemon Lingerie
Pokemon lingerie is an elusive creature, requiring a bit of detective work and luck to pin down.
- Start at your local Wal-Mart or other retail store. Pokemon isn't as big as it once was, so it might be a fruitless search, but if you can find a 3-pack of underpants for $4.99, it will be the best possible deal.
- eBay and other auction sites can be your best source for hard-to-find merchandise like Pokemon panties.
- The franchise has lost some popularity among kids, so there's a chance you will be able to find Pokemon underwear at your local thrift shop or Goodwill store.
- Since Pokemon began in Japan, Asian-import stores offer some of the more obscure licensed products.
- If you participate in a Pokemon-related forum or mailing list, you can post a request for Pokemon-related clothing, and hopefully someone will have a package of underwear and be willing to part with it. Make sure you're aware of the rules of a particular group before trying to initiate a sale or trade, though.
- Of course, if you can't find the Pokemon lingerie you crave, you can always make your own. Find a Pokemon patch and attach it to a pair of plain underpants, or sew a small keychain or charm in the middle of a bra.
The Size Issue
While Pokemon has gathered fans of all ages, ultimately it's a cartoon for kids. A few designs of women's underwear or men's boxers have certainly been made for those who revel in ironic statements like, "Look, I'm wearing a thong with a kids' cartoon character on it!" but by and large, you're going to find children's sizes when looking for Pokemon lingerie. If you're an exceedingly small, thin woman, you might be able to fit into the largest boys' and girls' sizes, or those briefs will turn into a bikini thong. A stretchy undershirt could also be used as a sports bra, although if you're buying your lingerie for the cartoon characters featured on it, it sort of defeats the purpose to stretch Squirtle beyond recognition. Of course, you may not actually want to wear Pokemon underwear, but simply wish to enhance your collection of all things Pokemon.
Comments
I made some (newer) poke-panties, to celebrate the realese of Pokemon D&P. I had one with silkscreened pokemon made(all the legendarys^_^) and another with "Gotta catch 'em all" one the frount(with scatterd pokeballs) and "Pokemon!" on the back(with pokeballs)
I also had a bra made with pokeball straps and cups that looked like real pokeballs! and the clasp was a set of (pokeball) buttons.
