If you’re in a time crunch and you hate doing returns, but your local stores don't offer Spanx to try on, discovering your correct Spanx size is super important. Ordering the right size will ensure that you'll be able to pull off that outfit you've had in mind for months—with an unbelievably sexy hourglass silhouette all the other gals at the party envy and men secretly (or not so discretely) ogle. Luckily, Spanx sizes aren't too hard to decipher and there are charts available online to help you decide which size you need, whether you're shopping for panties, panty hose, maternity styles or even some of their clothing items.

Panty Hose Sizing

If you're looking for the perfect pair of panty hose to sculpt your lower body under that cocktail dress you just bought, you'll need to know how Spanx sizes work in their hosiery category. Shapewear Sizes

'Power Panties' are sized similarly to the hosiery. They come in sizes A-G depending upon your height and weight. Weights on the chart range from 95 to 325 pounds, and the heights range from 4'10" to 6'0". Size A covers the most petite figures, while size G has plus-size women covered.

'Higher Power' is, again, similar in sizing to the hosiery and the panties. However, in this category, the Spanx sizes are shifted. There are only sizes A-E. Weights on the chart include 95 to 265 pounds; heights included are 4'10" to 6'0". The sizing on this chart is the same as that of the hosiery and panty charts, but F and G sizes are not available.

'Hipnotic' sizes are even more particular. They cover only sizes A, B, and C. The weight range here is 95-180 lbs and the height range is the same as previous shapewear styles—4'10" to 6'0".

'Mama Spanx' The pregnancy line of Spanx sizes is based on your height and pre-pregnancy weight. Sizes available include A-E, which covers a weight range of 95-265 and a height range of 4'10"-6'0".

'Bra-llelujah!' Spanx's bra sizing is similar to that of other brands like Victoria's Secret, Frederick's of Hollywood, and other department store choices. Here's a list of sizes available:

• 32, 34, and 36 A/B
• 32, 34, and 36 C/D
• 38, 40, and 42 B/C
• 38, 40, and 42 D/DD

'Hide & Sleek and Slim Cognito' These styles come in sizes small, medium, large and extra large. Small measurements consist of 33.5-35.5 for bust, 26.5-28 for waist, and 36.5-37.5 for hips.

Medium measurements consist of 36-38 bust, 28.5-30.5 waist, and 38-40.5 hips

Large' measurements consist of 38.5-40.5 bust, 31-33 waist, and 41-43 hips

X-Large measurements consist of 41-43 bust, 33.5-35.5 waist, and 43.5-45.5 hips
