I have had issues finding the right size bra for a long time and I'm beginning to figure out why. I am amazed that all these years no one ever specified that the band measurement should be taken under the arms and not where the band sits. That is one problem solved. The second problem, however, is not. When I measure my breasts at the fullest point, the measurement is exactly the same as the band. I have huge, completely drooping breasts, like something out of National Geographic. I actually have to fold them up in half to get them into a bra. But they still bulge out the top and out the sides. So how do I measure the fullest part? Should I bend forward and let them hang to mimic what they would do if they actually sat up? I know it's way too late to salvage my breasts (short of surgery), but I'd at least like to find the right cup size to deal with these things. Any advice would be appreciated.

Lauren, you're absolutely right. Rose, it may be time for you and your mom to go on a shopping spree. :)

Rose, your bras are probably wearing out. 6 months to a year is about all they last.

Jess, buy a bra that fits your larger breast and put an insert in the other side to make them look even. You can find inserts in department stores and online.

Samir, if she wishes to add a cup size, Victoria's Secret has some bras that claim to do just that. Fredericks of Hollywood has a good bra that gives the illusion of fuller breasts called the Xtreme Cleavage bra. And don't forget the classic Wonderbra that can be found at most major department stores.

My wife's band size is 30 and she has small breast (B size). Can you suggest that she can use push up bra, padded bra or somehing different?
